Hi..I have decided to sell my record collection which have accumulated over many years. I am not a trader or record shop and I am just starting out selling on eBay. I am music fan who has collected vinyl records over many years and over the coming days/weeks I will be offering rare, and much sought after vinyl records including Prog Rock, Blues, Folk, etc from collectible labels such as Pink Island, Blue Horizon, Deram/Decca, Atlantic plum, Vertigo swirl, etc etc..

HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER AND HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE  LP, 1971 FIRST ORIGINAL UK PRESSING ON HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL EX+/VG+

The LP is in truly EXCELLENT+ condition and is genuinely a reluctant sale.

This is a highly collectible LP (especially in this condition!) by the incomparable Black Sabbath and this is a great example of one of their first and best, highly sought original LP's. There is absolutely no groove-wear, no pops, no clicks, no breakfast frying , no sticks, no jumps. The vinyl is in Excellent+ condition! Classics songs such as Children of the Grave, Sweet Leaf, and After Forever have never sounded so good! Heavy Rock at its glorious best and, an education for the younger generation to appreciate the nucleus of the heavy metal that is recorded today.

Discerning and serious collectors of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne, know that to own this LP on this original Vertigo Swirl label in their collection is a must have , and an indispensable addition to their heavy metal catalogue.

Record Grading:

Before I offer for sale I play grade to check my LP's and I have just played both sides on an upmarket deck.

There is truly only one way to describe the vinyl of this LP;  Exceptional! The winning bidder will not only be thrilled but also amazed at the quality of the heavyweight vinyl! Remember and please bear in mind that this original pressing is 40yrs old!

The vinyl is gleaming!  And I doubt if you will ever again find this vinyl in as stunning and beautiful condition! I am being genuine and highly critical, but honest in my evaluation of the LP; You would be thinking I m doing myself an injustice with my description but I treat others the way I wish to be treated myself so I am describing it to the best of my ability. 

*Also, I have not attempted to clean the vinyl in case of damage to the LP and because in my opinion it is in such outstanding condition that it doesnt require any object or cleaning agent applied, in fact the only implement this LP requires is a stylus*

LP box Cover:

The original fully laminate embossed box cover I would grade as a high Very Good+. The box cover retains it's square shape and the 'very good' grading is only pertinent because there are a few creases, mainly towards the edges and on the spine. However, there is absolutely no lifting of the laminate!!.The front and rear of the embossed box cover is clean and bright with no unwanted ink or any other unsightly blemishes, rips or tears. The print on the spine is also excellent. 

Labels:

Excellent++  ...Clean and bright! (see images).. Very few, but very light, spindle marks if slanted towards a strong light. No ink or tears or unsightly blemishes.

Insert:

Excellent++ Original poster!! (picture of group)...No rips or tears, clean with no ink or any other unsightly blemishes! Pretty much immaculate!

Inner Sleeve:

Excellent++ ..The LP is housed in its original Vertigo Swirl poly-lined inner sleeve. No rips or tears, clean with no ink or any unwanted blemishes.
