Description
This is an original vinyl version of the Massive Attack album Blue Lines (because of the First Gulf War they were briefly renamed 'Massive' for this LPs release). It comes in the original plain brown cardboard outer sleeve which has a lovely simple screen-printed design. I bought this album when it was first released and because of me swapping over to CDs, it has been in my attic for about 15 years.
Condition:
Record - the vinyl is slightly warped, but I played it on my mate's good-quality turntable yesterday and it seems pretty much okay, not crackles or jumps that I could make out.
Cardboard outer sleeve - is in pretty good condition apart from the ghost of the price tag and some small marks on the front and some scuffs and tears to the corners and the flap at the back. The top of the back has some creases and also the top of the right-hand seam has become unstuck. (see photos)
Original sleeve - this has rippled, probably due to being in the attic. The matt cover side also has little spots probably caused by damp.
Inner sleeve - this is in good condition, and has not rippled like the outer sleeve.
