Gary Paxton produced this 45 for Edmonton rock singer Mary Saxton in 1966, on his "Pace" label. This was just prior to his becoming one of the originators of the "Bakersfield sound", and a few years after having a hit with Alley Oop as "The Hollywood Argyles". From listening, it sounds as if he were trying to make her into North America's answer to Dusty Springfield.
Side A is "Is it Better to Live or To Die", written by Don Johnson. 2'50". Side B is Losing Control, written by Gary S. Paxton and Jan Paxton. PACE 18-1166.
The record is in Beautiful shape. Glossy w. only the tiniest marks. It sounds VG+ to NM. Label also looks great.
Very rare!! Only a few of these were pressed on this small label.
