You are bidding on a MEGA RARE PRIVATE PRESSED REAL PEOPLE PSYCH LP entitled "MARK HEYES- THE WORDS AND MUSIC OF" on the private Good Sounds JAT-101 label. The condition of the cover is VG+ with some general wear but there are no seam splits or writing! The condition of the disc is a very clean EX and it plays great! Although there is no date on the cover, I believe this was pressed in the late 1960's! Mark Heyes must have been a very rich kid!!! He was a 17 year old "composer, guitarist and poet" who hired the best of the best of the 1960's L.A. session musicians with Hal Blaine on drums, Joe Osborne on bass and Larry Knechtel on piano and organ!!! There are three tracks on each side with half being vocal and half instrumentals. Song titles include "Together", "Freedom", "4:30 Blues", "Dreams", "4:40 Blues" and "Reprise"! It's a excellent garagey/psych/private/real people LP with obviously good musicians backing 17 year old Mark Heyes on vocals and guitar! SUPER RARE and a good find for you collectors of the obscure local/private PSYCH LP's!!! I remember this being hyped in a local L.A. collectors catalog in the early 1990's for $300!!!! There will be no reserve and a low low minimum bid of $49.99! Bid with confidence! GOOD LUCK!!
