MARK FRY - DREAMING WITH ALICE
Monster rarity album, a realy “Holy Graal” for psychedelic and folk collectors. UK artist produced by Laura Papi and released in Italy only. Recorded between <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />London and Rome this psych gem was published for RCA on IT records ZSLT 70000 in the 1972. A very UK psychedelic folk with sitar, acoustic guitar etc. which trips you into another time, dreamy, effects, outstanding! GREAT SONGS. Mystical and magical. you'll love this acoustic psych fest ! It has been compared to Syd Barrett, Pink Floyd and Incredible String Band, and it's certainly as good as any of those three. There is a short musical theme running recurrently through this 40 minutes long lp, linking the different songs together, giving it an almost conceptual feeling. This album was recorded in 1972 at the height of IT’s success and had been due for release that June some copies were distributed to radio stations, but after that the project was stopped, this is one of the albums that was “lost” for far too long.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
