MANIAC COP - PRO PAINTED RARE RESIN MODEL - NAGLE - Good cop, bad cop, very bad cop.

In fact, he's a Maniac!

A lively psycho-killer flick, "Maniac Cop" was released in 1988 staring Robert D'Zar as an officer wronged by the department, then sent to Sing Sing. While there, he's murdered by the inmates, but returns from the dead with a vengeance, running rampant on a city-wide killing spree, stabbing his victims with a lethal blade built into his nightstick. The above average slasher film inspired two sequels, and this fine resin garage kit by sculptor, Shawn Nagle - the only figural representation ever released.

Produced by James Fabrizi, this rare model figure premiered at the October 1994 Chiller Theater Expo, where it sold out immediately, and hasn't been seen since.



It's a powerful sculpt, and a highly accurate rendition of the killer cop, with a threatening pose and lots of tight detailing. This one has been professionally assembled, slickly painted, and includes a terrific display base, with a custom made nameplate. The resin base was an early effort by Steve West at Cellar Cast (also released in 1994), that lends itself perfectly to Nagle's putrid policeman…finished in movie accurate colors, with just enough blood splatter to let you know that he's been walking the beat.

He stands 12" tall, with his accompanying base measuring 10" wide x 7 1/2" deep. Please know that the Maniac is not glued in place to his environment, allowing for the placement of your choice, and safer shipping to his new precinct. The nameplate is separate as well, and not glued in place.

Rare resin, handsomely finished, ready to display. So bid high... there's no law against it.
