Excellent and very rare, highly sought after DJ White Label Promo 45 by Mandrill.
Songs are: "Too Late" Mono / "Too Late" Stereo. Original U.S. DJ Promo on Arista Records #AS-0375.
Condition is MINT NEVER PLAYED (Mono side)/MINT NEVER PLAYED (Stereo side) MINT NEVER PLAYED
THERE IS NO WRITING ON EITHER SIDE JUST A LITTLE BIT DIRT
THIS IS A MINT TAKEN BY ME OUT OF AN OLD RECORD SHOP IN GERMANY.
THE OWNER (AN OLD MAN) HAS WORKED FOR ARIOLA IN THE LATE 70's.
HE TOLD ME WHEN ARISTA HAS SOLD TO ARIOLA A LOT OF ARISTA-PROMOS COME TO GERMANY.
BUT SOUL MUSIC WAS A FLOP IN GERMANY NO ONE WANTS TO LISTEN TO IN THE 70's
SINCE THE MIDDLE OF THE 80's IS SOUL MUSIC POPULAR IN GERMANY.
This is a superb 1978 Soul rarity, it grabs you from the moment the keys and drums start the song out and the vocal harmonies are wonderfully soulful.
Also of note for you DJ's this is the only way to get the punchier Mono mix of the song
