Their third and final album and rightly considered one of the top psychedelic masterpieces ever recorded. This is a Philadelphia group, and throughout the progression of their three album lifespan, they grew and matured as artists. This is a concept album with deep, trippy songs, emotive and transcendental vibes, and just cosmic arrangements and production. I don’t feel like I need to describe much here – just look for reviews online or in many of the great psych reference guides. This is a five star classic, and it’s super hard to find now. It gets better every time you play it.

This is an original pressing. The gatefold cover is nice and tight with no seam splits and only slight wear. There is some circular residue in the middle cover on both sides rom being lightly stuck to other LPs, probably from a moist environment, but it really blends into the cover art and is not a big negative (check the photos). The vinyl is clean with some light sleeve and line scuffs that cause some very minor light surface noise in the quiet parts, but it is clean and plays very enjoyably well. Unless you are a strict mint condition collector, you should be happy with this. Unfortunately, this copy does not include the round record-shaped insert with the photo of the band with their instruments in the ocean surf. Conservative grading: EX/Strong VG+ (cover/record).

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
