I've decided that this record has become one of my top favorites from the late 1960s era.

Basically it's a mixture of heavy blues rock throughout the whole album with moments of garage rock and mellow psychedelic songs. Great rocking jams on here such as the opener "Sioux City Blues" with it's heavy psych riffs and mellow sections, with my favorite song from the album "Nightmare" which is similar too. Both "Where Are We Going" and "We Gotta Live On" to my ears should have been more well known to people! It's definitely great soft highlights on here, and would have made a single. "Life's Lonely Road" and "Too Much" both feature fuzzy guitar and blues rock presented too very well.

Great song structure on all these tracks. There really is no weak point on here for me. Maybe some of the guitar solos could have used a little more variety. Because the guitar solos are basically the same notes and can get old after a while. Nonetheless, still good and solid stuff. I can't believe how this band never did make it big. All of the songs here sound like they could have been made into a hit single. This will always be a top favorite of mine. I've bumped this up to a 5/5 stars.

Not much else to say about this except that it's good hard driving rock with a psychedelic feel throughout. I recommend this to any fans of this type of early hard rock music.
