Please check out my other items as I am listing over 15 classical test records this week, all on auction. For me these are very hard to research so there could be a gem or two amongst them.

This is a very rare test record of

MAHLER SYMPHONY #1, LSO, CONDUCTED BY GEORG SOLTI

DECCA STEREO 7BB 173 

FROM THE 5LP UK MAHLER SYMPHONIES 1,2,3 BOX SET ISSUED IN 1975

I think it is from the 5 record set though it has similar matrix numbers to the 1964 single issue release SXL 6113.

Please use the photo's to research this for yourself as I have no other information apart from what is on the label and the stamped matrix numbers.

There is one, double sided disc contained in 1 inner sleeve.

The vinyl is in excellent condition but there is a very light scratch on side one, it shouldn't affect play. It has been lightly played but well looked after. I can only do a visual grading as I have nothing to play it on.
