Description

Rare Stiff Records 3230, "Our Aim Is True", attributed to The Rumor.  This is a French promotional disc for Elvis Costello, released in 1977 (never sold).  The record itself is in excellent condition while the sleeve (which was a wrap around piece of paper over top a blank cardboard album) has a tear along the bottom 40% of the spine.  Also, on the cover where the ID of the presenter of this promo gift is listed, it shows "Elvis Himself" in blue handwriting (not suggesting such . . . just describing).  The track listing on this early disc is fascinating (and ties nicely to the chronology in Elvis's recent autobiography):
