THE
MAGIC MIXTURE
THIS IS
1968 UK STEREO SAGA FID 2125
A1 - B1
Here is a very rare original A1-B1 uk first stereo pressing of the brilliant one and only psych album by the very obscure band The Magic Mixture. This album is musically fantastic and in my opinion is better than many of the major label psych releases of the time. All tracks are the bands own and all sound really excellent, there are no cover versions at all, the vinyl is choc-full of amazing sounding floaty psych-rock tracks with brilliant searing acid lead guitar breaks and excellent hammond organ and great heavy bass guitar, the lead and harmony vocals also sound amazing making it a real essential gem to collectors of rare psych records. The whole album just gels and sounds superb throughout, it is certainly the best uk budget label psych album ever released.
This only ever release by the very obscure band 'The Magic Mixture' is top notch uk psych-rock at it's best and it will definitely not disappoint the fan of such music.
THICK CHUNKY VINYL LOOKS EX+ PLAYS VG+
The heavy thick pressed original stereo vinyl is visually in brilliant EX++ very clean condition, both sides still have their excellent original deep sheen with no noticeable scuffs, marks or scratches, there are just a few very fine hairlines and a few very light signs of careful use, this album really is in superb very clean playing condition and looks barely played, but as with all SAGA pressed records the album does play with some crackle and a few random pops, there are no bad surface marks at all so there are no areas with continuous clicks, pops or loud crackle, whatever surface noise you hear is caused by the quality of the pressing, It would be very near impossible to find a SAGA pressed album that does not play with some crackle and pop as SAGA pressings are known to not be of the best quality. This rare psych album has been very well cared for and has not had many plays so the sound quality is still excellent and clean and clear throughout. This is just a superb very clean copy that looks in brilliant clean condition but like all copies it plays very close to EX due to the quality of the pressing.
MATT BLACK SAGA LABELS = EX
Both matt black SAGA labels are in excellent condition, there are only a few visible spindle traces on each side due to careful play. There are also just a few very light marks but these labels still look really excellent with no bad faults.
FRONT LAMINATED SLEEVE VG+
The front laminated single cover still looks great and grades as very good condition. This sleeve is thinner and flimsier than most standard album covers of the time. The front lamination is still nice and glossy with just a couple of light lamination shifts and the white matt back is still nice and clean with the minimal amount of ageing and marking, many copies that have turned up in the past usually have bad staining and discolouration on the rear sleeve but this back cover is still in great condition with no bad marking. The top edge has a small seem split at it's centre but the bottom edge is excellent. The spine is in great condition apart from a very small tear right near the bottom, all spine text is still nice and clear and easy to read. This flimsy front laminated single sleeve has a couple of faults but still looks in really great condition.

I pack my records very well, the album will be removed from the outer cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
