Description
Two interesting and very clean albums by the comedian and actress who's famous quote was "Is that a banana in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?". The first is "Way Out West" on the Tower label T5028 released in Mono in 1966. Mae rocks out with some rock "n" roll classics backed by a young group called "Somebody's Chyldren". INCLUDED in this album is an original two page insert telling all about Mae and shows some classic photos of her. The cover is squeeky clean (mint) and the record itself is in super condition. I would grade it near mint to mint. The second album included here is "Great Balls Of Fire" on the MGM label SE-4869 released in 1972. The cover is very clean showing only minimal shelfwear. A couple of very small numbers are written on the back and are hardly noticible. The record itself is very clean .Again I would grade it near mint to mint. I have sound tested both records on high end equipment. I almost listed these albums as comedy as you have never heard a rendition of these songs done up as only Mae West can do them. Two collectible and very hard to find albums in excellent shape.
