Love - Forever Changes UK First Issue Vinyl LP

Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting LPs in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I love the magnificent  "Forever Changes", and ended up with 5 different copies of it - including this UK first issue mono - to hear it every-which-way I could. This copy not perfect (or most people's idea of VG), but well worthwhile.

Cover - laminated both sides. May have been white when manufactured, a mellow cream now. There are old bends to all 4 corners, leaving crease in the lamination. Three or four light scallop creases. Small bumps / wear to corners, a half-inch split to spine. "1967" in small biro writing at bottom of back, and a scratchy patch to the lamination top of the back above picture towards the right side.

Record - Inspection first, play-test at end -  Side one has a fingernail mark across tracks 5 and 6, and another one on track 6. I saw a very short scratch at the end of track 4. There's a tiny impact or speck at start of track 6, and a short fingernail mark the end of track 3. On side 2, there's a scratch running from track 2 into track 4, and a fingernail mark (or something) across track 5, plus a short scratch at the very end of that track. There's a wide fingernail mark on tracks one and two. Maybe more light damages to discover! I may have seen a couple of tiny white specks that didn't want to come off. I have listened to this all through twice while typing this week's listings. It's still a pleasure to listen to, sounds exactly as it should, not worn-out at all. You will hear crackling in some quietest parts, and an occasional louder click or two. "Alone Again Or" is perhaps the most damaged track, so don't give up on it in the first three or four minutes! There ISN'T constant background crackle, and there are many stretches of completely trouble-free listening. 

I'm probably under-pricing this..

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favourite bands.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

Postage at cost within UK - £2.95. Happy to do combined postage wherever practical.

Dispatch will usually be "next day".

Collection in person is welcome.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad.

Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices. Combined postage may or may not be possible through the Program - if e-bay shows combined postage for their courier job, I'll do combined postage for the transit inside UK. I can't see information about this until you pay.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.

If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.

International postage plus applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in the following non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Russia and USA, and wherever else import duty is appropriate - e.g. Norway.

I WILL DEFINITELY NOT post to countries that are not included in the above lists, and I don't send to China.
