Love's Forever Changes made only a minor dent on the charts when it was first released in 1967, but years later it became recognized as one of the finest and most haunting albums to come out of the Summer of Love, which doubtless has as much to do with the disc's themes and tone as the music, beautiful as it is. This is the Terre Haute pressing. The LP is VG to VG+. The LP cover is VG.
First pressings info: It is hard to find a copy that plays without excessive surface noise. This is not necessarily because the vinyl is of poor quality, but because the recording itself had to be mastered very softly (due to its length, dynamic range and stereo separation.)
First Release Matrix / Runout: EKS-74013A 2 (CTH) - Gold labels with side printed on left side of labels and catalog number and stereo on right side of labels. "CTH" in matrix is a pressing plant owned by Columbia Records, based in Terre Haute, Indiana.
