Great signed copy of this Lou Reed 1972 classic LP, Transformer.


This is a circa 1980 "Best Buy" series repressing with catalog number AYL1-3806 on RCA records.


Jacket is sharp and clean with no creases. (The original owner made a little quarter size doodle inside the cover that you cannot see from the outside.) Vinyl sides are beautiful with no marks.  All in all it looks as new as it might have looked 40 years ago.


I personally got this signed by the man himself at the 2003 UCLA book fair. (I distinctly remember him not being very excited to see this record but he signed it without smiling.) He was promoting the release of his lyrics collection, Pass Thru Fire. I have a signed copy of that book as well that I might put up for sale as well.
