About the condition - Light surface noise here and there and a few faint ticks during playback.  I didn't find it to be distracting, and it was really only noticeable during quieter parts of songs and in between tracks.  A few marks on the vinyl on both sides but no deep gouges.  This is the first U.S. pressing.  Rated VG to be conservative.  The gatefold sleeve is in VG shape as well and there really isn't anything too important to note.  Some general shelf wear and light ring wear.  The sleeve is fully intact with no splits, stains, tears, etc. This album was recorded live at Howard Stein's Academy of Music, N.Y.C. on December 21, 1973.  Lou Reed in New York playing Velvet Underground songs in the 1970s.  Tough to beat that.
