Description

First Lou Reed solo album, taped in London with members of Yes and Elton John's band hanging there at his direction. They put down some great takes of Velvets classics. Especially stunning their version of 'Ocean'. They should have kept this Stonesy Mott Momentum going, like a tour or something, what happend.? Its an original US press. Cover is looking pretty good too  EX-/VG+. Some reasonable signs of careful shelf wear. Vinyl is bright blemish free, perhaps spun just a few times ever. Check the photos for all that. Apparently Lou met up with Bowie and Ronson for his next LP, 'Transformer'. Damn, must be nice.
