Lou Donaldson on 10” Blue Note 5055

$

Description

This is the original RVG-etched deep groove “P”-pressing of Lou Donaldson “Sextet, Volume 2” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 5055.  The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  Similarly, the coated frame cover is in extraordinary condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout – with sharp corners and unworn seams; very slight age toning along the left edge and bottom of the back slick.  Personnel include Kenny Dorham, Matthew Gee, Elmo Hope, Percy Heath, and Art Blakey.  $500.00.
