Lou Donaldson on Blue Note 4025


This is rare original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing (only on Side 2) of Lou Donaldson “The Time Is Right” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4025.  The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a high luster (only a few minor non-feelable paper scuffs); perhaps played once or twice.  The laminated West 61st cover is clean throughout, with slight age toning on the back slick; ¼” split on the top seam, at the opening; cracking (but no flaking) at the top of the spine; 1/8” wear at the lower right corner; “#818” and date stamped at the top of the back slick.
