This EP album is in what you would call excellent condition or VG+, both the record and the picture sleeve. It's actually a little better than that though. I have rarely found any vintage records in this kind of condition, let alone an EP. I play graded the record and it sounded as good as it would have from the store. Normally, EPs tend to sound pretty awful, but this played as clean as any vintage 45 I have owned. The only reason I didn't grade it NM was the blems. Audibly, I think it rates closer to near mint. I tried to photograph the blemishes that I could see. There is a faint longitudinal scratch and a couple of light mars on the playing surface. They are difficult to see unless you hold the record up to strong light. None of these are audible, though. The label itself has only the very faintest hint of wear on the ridge, and again you have to reflect the light to see that it's a reduction of the glaze from rubbing, probably from being removed from the sleeve a few times. The picture sleeve (which has a black background and shows wear easily) is also in the VG+ or VG++ catagory. You can see that the glaze from the cover has a little wear from being in contact with other records. The most visible is along the seam bulge along the top, as the photo shows. I can also just see the beginnings of ringwear in a couple of spots, but I am being picky. If you look at my feedback you will see how many of my buyers report the item as better than described. Honestly, I couldn't expect any better example of this record to be found if I were collecting. It is in remarkable shape. Incidentally, a copy in lesser shape recently sold here for more than my opening bid. I put the BIN at what I feel is an honest price to pay, and feel like you got a good deal.
