Description

LIGHTNIN' SLIM'S BELL RINGER, Excello LP-8004, orange label.

This rare original LP contains 12 classic Louisiana "swamp blues" sides recorded 1957-1966. The tunes are Love Me Mama, She's My Crazy Little Baby, Wintertime Blues, If You Ever Need Me, Mean Old Lonesome Train, Please Baby Come Back, Love Is Just a Gamble, Somebody Knockin', You Give Me the Blues, Don't Start Me Talkin', You Move Me Baby    

Condition of record is VG - looks scuffy, plays very well with only a minimum of occasional surface noise. Jacket shows some overall wear, tape repairs across top seam.

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
VG = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
