In einigen Online-Katalogen wird 1987 als Erscheinungsjahr für die Picture Disc angegeben. Ich habe diese rare Scheibe dieser sehr guten, aber leider wenig bekannten Band aus Stamford/Connecticut erst 1989 oder 1990 auf einer Plattenbörse erstanden, wenn ich mich recht erinnere. Vielleicht war sie da schon gebraucht. (?) Leider weist die Platte ein paar kleine Macken auf - das Bild der B-Seite besitzt zwei Falten am linken, oberen Rand. :( Sieht etwas unschön aus. Da ist wohl beim Pressen etwas schief gelaufen! ;-) Das betrifft nur das "Papier" zwischen den Vinylschichten. Zu allem "Überfluss" besitzt auch Track one auf der B-Seite am Anfang zwei Kratzer, die den Hörgenuss beeinträchtigen dürften. Davon abgesehen haben die Rillen (A- und B-Seite) keine weiteren, nennenswerten Schäden. Vielleicht handelt es sich hierbei ja um eine ultrarare Fehlpressung! *Scherz!* ;-)Wie schon auf meinen anderen Schallplattenauktionen angegeben, habe ich keinen Schallplattenspieler mehr, um die angebotenen Scheiben noch mal Probe zu hören. Ich beschreibe den optischen Zustand der Platten in aller Offenheit und Ehrlichkeit, damit der Interessent weiß, was ihn erwartet. Wie alle, meine Picture Discs, die ich in meinem Sammelfieber in den 80er-Jahren erworben habe, habe ich auch dieses Exemplar nur wenige Male abgespielt. Die Platte befindet sich in der Original PVC-Hülle (in der sie auch versandt wird).
For bidders outside Germany:This item perhaps needs some explanation! Some online catalogues quote "1987" as release date for the picture disc. I have obtained this rare record in 1989 or 1990 at a record fair and maybe it has already been a second hand offer. I´m not sure anymore.Unfortunately this record shows some defects. The picture on side B has two small folds at the left upper margin - probably something went wrong during the pressing. It only concerns the picture (paper) not the vinyl itself. Track one of side B however has two prominent scratches. :( Apart from that the groove on both sides is okay. Well, perhaps we have to consider this record an ultrarare mispress? *just kidding!* ;-) I describe the records I offer honestly so you know what you´ll get if you win the auction. As I don´t own a record player anymore I cannot play the record to hear its quality. I have to estimate only by sight.I have collected vinyl records between 1982 and 1991, so, yes, those records have notched up 20 to 30+ years. ;-) But like all my picture discs I have played this record only a few times.This record will be shipped in its original PVC sleeve (and in a stable shipping carton).
Shipment: I recommend registered mail (with shipment tracking which works fine for most EU countries) which is only 2,15 EUR more expensive than the simple unregistered mail. Note: I don´t take liability for lost or broken items if you choose unregistered mail for shipment! Unregistered mail: 7,00 EUR postage; registered mail: 9,15 EUR. 
I have started several auctions und will add some more. In case someone wins more than one auction the items can of course be combined to one package which saves shipment costs. :-) In case someone wins more than three auctions I need to ship the items as a(n) (insured) parcel. The shipment charges are 15,99 EUR (up to 5 kg weight) then.The registered mail mentioned above is limited to 1000 gram weight (2 or max. 3 records).
