Back to the slow sell-off of my own Jazz collection, 2000 LPs accumulated over 50 years of buying and listening, culling and selling--those for sale now my own saved favorites, in other words. All those i bought new are at least Mint- and usually Mint, really. Any used ones in lesser condition, i'll describe. Letter D begins today...

Solid VG+/++ copy (one 1/2" light scratch, jacket has two small pieces of tape midway on slightly worn bottom edge), deep-groove, 161 Lexington address on labels, bright vinyl with RVG and ear mark in runoff area, so a collectable copy indeed of original Blue Note BLP 1524, 'Round About Midnight at The Cafe Bohemia, a live session from 1956, six numbers performed by the sextet of Kenny Dorham, J.R. Monterose, Kenny Burrell, Bobby Timmons, Sam Jones, and Arthur Edgehill--Monaco, 'Round About Midnight, Mexico City, A Night in Tunisia, Autumn in New York, and Hill's Edge.

This is, of course, one of the few and sought albums featuring elusive tenor Monterose. Liner notes by Leonard Feather.
