This is the MEGA-RARE 1981 FIRST PRESSING (released only in Europe on Alternative Tentacles U.K. with the Alternative Tentacles U.K. address in London on the back cover) (SEE PICTURE!) of the legendary "Let Them Eat Jellybeans" (17 extracts from Americas darker side) compilation LP COMPLETE WITH THE ULTRA-RARE POSTER INSERT FEATURING LYRICS, PICTURES AND INFO ABOUT THE BANDS AND INFO ABOUT THE BAND FEEDERZ BUT NO LYRICS FOR THEIR "JESUS ENTERING FROM THE REAR" SONG. The etchings in the dead wax say: "Virus 4 A2*", "Virus 4 B2*", "1" , "E" and "P", showing that it is a TRUE FIRST PRESSING! There are many differences between this FIRST PRESSING and the latter 1982 second pressing on New Rose Records and the 1982 U.S.A. pressing: the first pressing (SEE PICTURE) features a drawing (or Xerox of a photo) of the American Flag while the Front Cover of the New Rose Pressing still has a drawing or Xerox of the flag but with paler blue and Front cover of the U.S.A. pressings features a PHOTO of the American Flag. Also, the text written by Jello Biafra on the back cover is NOT the same and everything on the back cover is written in WHITE (it was written in red on the second U.S.A. pressing) and the record labels are also white on this first pressing features the original "eye" artwork on side A as well as the A.T. logo on side B. Also, on the poster insert, the lyrics to "Jesus Entering from the Rear" by Feederz were omited on the first pressing since the label anticipated a strong reaction to the lyrics in the U.K. Lyrics to the Feederz song were only printed on subsequent pressings( THIS PRESSING VERY RARE AND LONG OUT OF PRINT! ALSO, IT WILL NEVER BE REISSUED BECAUSE OF A FEUD BETWEEN JELLO BIAFRA AND THE FEEDERZ' SINGER FRANK DISCUSSION (I also heard Black Flag will not give AT permission to include their track) So Jello decided he would not re-issue it since it wouldn't be a real re-issue without the Black Flag and Feederz tracks! This album has the famous Ronald Reagan cover artwork by Winston Smith and features all those punk bands that were beginning by then but are legendary now!
