FROM THE PAPER + PLASTICK VAULT: LABEL ANNOUNCES SERIES OF EBAY AUCTIONS TO BENEFIT BREAST CANCER AWARENESS Paper + Plastick Records has announced a new series of online eBay auctions to help benefit Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds from the “Paper + Plastick Vault” auctions will go toward the National Breast Cancer Foundation. This isn’t the label’s first charity auction, as it previously has done benefits for the unfortunate victims of earthquakes in Haiti and Japan. This time, Paper + Plastick has lined up a load of test presses and rare, out-of-print records to auction off. Auction pieces include vinyl from The Ataris, Carpenter, Stephen Egerton, Hellmouth, Jon Snodgrass and a sizable collection of Less Than Jake rarities, among others.
