THE BEATLES - 'LES BEATLES'
This 1963 1st French pressing of 'With The Beatles' dates from late 1963 on the dark green & silver Odeon label: OSX 222
Matrix numbers: XAR 777 21B/M6 231498 & XAR 778 21B & M6 231499
Vinyl weight: 155g
Housed in a highly attractive fully laminated French designed/printed flipback cover with replacement white inner.

As you can see, some wear is present to each centre hole but there is little else to fault on this early set.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean & unworn playing surfaces which retain a healthy deep-gloss shine with just a few light inner-sleeve removal marks in strong daylight but no scuffs or scratches at all. Even close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp fails to reveals anything more than some harmless wispy paper hairlines. Both sides of this heavy pressing lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This really is a fine sounding pressing and highly comparable to the UK issue. This copy has been played, but clearly only on good equipment only as the sound quality remains clean & clear with no signs of any groove/playwear distortion or background crackle/interference or any clicks pops or other such distractions.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
This striking cover is in highly respectable shape bearing just moderate storagewear but no major issues.
The front panel is clean and glossy with a few 'thumbnail', edge wrinkles and storage marks but but no heavy creasing or missing laminate. There is some light bruising to the corners and opening edges but no tears or splits anywhere. The rear panel is overall is clean but has some age-toning and a some damage to the upper flipback where it appears a sticker has been carelessly removed.
There is a tiny 1cm stress in the centre of the spine but both seams are smooth and unsplit.
