Description
This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P” pressing of Lee Morgan “City Lights” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 1575. Side 1 has the “New York 23” address (BLP 1575 was never pressed with the “New York 23” address on both sides). The playing surfaces are in beautiful condition, with just a few light inaudible surface scuffs and splotches that are typical of records that have been long stored in their original inner sleeves. The laminated cover is clean throughout and has the West 63rd St., New York 23 address: slight wear at the top right and spine corners; 5/8” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.
