Lee Morgan The Cooker Blue Note LP 1578 mono
Cover: VG+ Very glossy clean cover small crease in lower left hand corner, suitable for framing beautiful laminated jacket, back is still bright white, only slightest hint of ring wear and very top on bottom center of jacket, you have to really look to notice, back cover is still very white, its amazing how good this jacket looks. no tape, no seam splits no writing. Upper right corner is showing minor wear.
Record: VG minus, this record has scratches, that affect the sound, but plays easily without skipping, but it is considerably noisy, no visible groove wear, just scratches.It it playable. This record is rare even in this condition. DG, Has Ear and RVG in deadwax
Label description:
This label was used from 1962 to 1966. Most of the background color of the label is white, but the left vertical one-sixth of the label is in medium blue. On this medium-blue backround, BLUE is printed vertically in white, in 5/16 inch letters. The horizontal bottom one-sixth of the label is in medium blue. On this medium-blue background, NOTE is printed horizontally in white, in 5/16 inch letters. All other printing is blue. Often the printing of the artist name and selections is a slightly darker hue than the medium-blue background. It is also found printed in black. The record prefix is BLP, probably meaning Blue Note LP or BST, probably meaning Blue Note Stereo. 33 1/3 MICROGROOVE LONG PLAYING is printed at the label edge, following the label's curve from 11 o'clock to 4 o'clock on monaural records and 33 1/3 STEREO LONG PLAYING is printed at the label edge, following the label's curve from 10:30 to 4:30 on stereo records. BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC · NEW YORK USA is printed 3/4 inch from the label edge, following the label's curve from 10:30 to 2:30. Recordings on this label are both monaural and stereo.

Mint (M) Absolutely perfect in every way.
Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect record. Many dealers won't give a grade higher than this implying (perhaps correctly)that no record is ever truly perfect.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK".
Very Good (VG). Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
Good (G), Good Plus (G+) Generally worth 10-15 percent of the Near Mint value. Good does not mean Bad! A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear (on a styrene record, the groove will be starting to turn white).
Poor (P), Fair (F) Generally worth 0-5 percent of the Near Mint price. The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully seam split, crinkled, and written upon
