RECORD: VG+

NOTES: US 1967 Stereo pressing. Great play copy more like strong VG+. Cover looks decent with following minor flaws: light stain upper right front, price sticker, bottom seam wear with small splits at corner and center. VAN GELDER in dead wax. Great lineup includes McCoy Tyner, Joe Henderson, and Billy Higgins.


GRADES I USE: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.

I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
