I’M SELLING A BIG PART OF MY 30 YEARS COLLECTION OF 60’s AND 70’s PROG,PSYCH AND FOLK LPs..BOUGHT MOST OF THEM VERY NEAR NEW (MANY OF THEM NEW),ALL HAVE BEEN PROPERLY STORED AND KEPT IN PLASTIC SLEEVES IN A SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT AWAY FROM SUNSHINE ALL THESE YEARS-NONE OF THEM HAVE EVER BEEN TO PARTIES OR LENT TO ANYONE ( I NEVER TRUSTED ANYONE WITH MY RECORDS !!) ,MOST OF THEM HAD ONLY A HANDFUL OF PLAYS SINCE I ALWAYS MADE TAPE AND CD COPIES OF MY LPs..I’VE ALWAYS BEEN EXTREMELY PICKY AND FUSSY ABOUT CONDITIONS,SO YOU WON’T FIND ANY ABUSED LP’s HERE WITH NASTY SCRATCHES..

Led zeppelin: Presence SWAN SONG SSk 59402 UK

This is the PRE-RELEASE manufacturing  pressing with the increadibly rare A1 and B1 matrix numbers (!!!!!! ) in FANTASTIC condition !!!! Since this record came out in 1976 this is the ONLY copy I’ve ever seen with A1 and B1 matrix endings – I don’t think there are too many of these out there,let alone for sale !!!

I could go on and on about how to tell the difference between this (the VERY first pressing) and all the later ones-if you know what you’re looking for the pictures will tell you the story…

cover:  original unlaminated soft textured GF cover with embossed „LED ZEPPELIN PRESENCE” lettering on the front and the Swan Song logo on the back(ONLY first pressings have this!!), superb  clean EX++ condition with light rubbing…..NO creases,NO writing,NO edge/corner wear AT ALL.....no rips,tears,splits or any other damages....it also has the original inner sleeve with the  „Printed and made in England” text on one side -this one is in EX+ condition with one small split ( 1") on the bottom……

record,visual:   superb clean  EX++ with few very light hairlines caused by the paper inner sleeve. ….it still retains it’s beautiful original sheen and it looks GREAT  !!!

record,audio: THE ENTIRE RECORD HAS BEEN TESTPLAYED FROM BEGINNING TO END -  THE AUDIO IS   GREAT WITH  CRYSTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT SOUND WITHOUT ANY SINGS OF GROOVEWEAR,WITH  GREAT DELIVERY AND  STEREO IMAGE… NO  LOUD POPS/CLICKS, SOME VERY LIGHT  BACKGROUND NOISE IN QUIET PARTS BUT NOT INTRUSIVE AT ALL...

labels:  labels have the „Made in the UK” text printed on both sides,a proof of being a first UK pressing as opposed to the later German pressings…THIS copy also has the increadibly rare RIDGED labels (please check pictures !!) that NONE of the other pressings have !!! superb AS CLEAN AS IT COULD BE  with few VERY LIGHT spindle hole marks… SSK59402-A1 and SSk 59402-B1 matrix numbers (!!!!) ,earliest pressing ever… no tears,stamps or any other damages...

Gradings: I ALWAYS TRY TO DO MY BEST IN GIVING ACCURATE,HONEST AND VERY STRICT GRADINGS BY USING THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

I ALSO USE  PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.

VINYL WILL FIRST BE INSPECTED VISUALLY VERY CAREFULLY UNDER STRONG LIGHT, THEN WILL BE TESTPLAYED SKIPPING THROUGH EACH TRACK ON BOTH SIDES ( INCLUDING RUN-IN,RUN-OUT GROOVES AND THE SPACES BETWEEN TRACKS ) TO CHECK THE OVERALL PLAYBACK  QUALITY.

ALL TESTPLAYING IS DONE ON TOP QUALITY EQUIPMENT- LINN SONDEK WITH ITTOK TONEARM AND BENZ MICRO GLIDER S MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE,McINTOSH TUBE AMPMS AND AMT ESS HEIL SPEAKERS.

IN THE UNLIKELY CASE THAT YOU SHOULD BE UNHAPPY WITH MY GRADING/DESCRIPTION PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK-I’M SURE THAT WE CAN CLEAR OUT EVERY PROBLEM IN A KIND WAY!
