Led zeppelin: Presence SWAN SONG SSk 59402 UK
This is a VERY RARE PRE-RELEASE manufacturing pressing with the increadibly rare A1 and B1 matrix numbers (!!!!!! ) in FANTASTIC condition !!!! Since this record came out in 1976 this is only the SECOND copy I’ve ever seen with A1 and B1 matrix endings – I don’t think there are too many of these out there,let alone for sale !!!
I could go on and on about how to tell the difference between this (the VERY first pressing) and all the later ones-if you know what you’re looking for the pictures will tell you the story…
cover: original unlaminated soft textured GF cover with embossed „LED ZEPPELIN PRESENCE” lettering on the front and the Swan Song logo on the back(ONLY first pressings have this!!), superb clean near spotless and white MINT condition …. there’s NO signs of heavy use whatsoever....NO creases,NO writing,NO edge/corner wear AT ALL...spine is lovely,un-crushed and square with ALL the text persent and visible.... no rips,tears,splits or any other damages....it also has the original textured inner sleeve with the „Printed and made in England” text on one side -this one is in MINT condition
record,visual: superb clean EX++ with few VERY LIGHT surface hairlines due to being moved in and out of the paper inner sleeve .. ….it still retains it’s beautiful original sheen and it looks VERY NEAR NEW..
record,audio: THE ENTIRE RECORD HAS BEEN TESTPLAYED FROM BEGINNING TO END - THE AUDIO IS GREAT WITH CRYSTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT SOUND WITHOUT ANY SINGS OF GROOVEWEAR,WITH GREAT DELIVERY AND STEREO IMAGE…ABSOLUTELY NO POPS, CLICKS OR BACKGROUND NOISE AT ALL , IT PLAYS GREAT !!!
labels: labels have the „Made in the UK” text printed on both sides,a proof of being a first UK pressing as opposed to the later German pressings…THIS copy also has the rare RIDGED labels (please check pictures !!) that NONE of the other pressings have !!! superb AS CLEAN AS IT COULD BE without ANY spindle hole marks… SSK59402-A1 and SSk 59402-B1 matrix numbers (!!!!) ,earliest pressing ever… no tears,stamps or any other damages...
Gradings: I ALWAYS TRY TO DO MY BEST IN GIVING ACCURATE,HONEST AND VERY STRICT GRADINGS BY USING THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

I ALSO USE PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.
VINYL WILL FIRST BE INSPECTED VISUALLY VERY CAREFULLY UNDER STRONG LIGHT..I DON'T HAVE TIME TO PLAY EVERY SINGLE RECORD FROM START TO END ( WHO DOES ? ) - HOWEVER,I TESTPLAY SKIPPING THROUGH TRACKS ON BOTH SIDES ( INCLUDING RUN-IN,RUN-OUT GROOVES AND THE SPACES BETWEEN TRACKS ) TO CHECK THE OVERALL PLAYBACK QUALITY.
IN THE UNLIKELY CASE THAT YOU SHOULD BE UNHAPPY WITH MY GRADING/DESCRIPTION PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK-I’M SURE THAT WE CAN CLEAR OUT EVERY PROBLEM IN A KIND WAY!
PLEASE NOTE:ALTHOUGH I DIDN’T HEAR ANY SERIOUS PROBLEMS DURING THE TESTPLAY ON MY SYSTEM AND HAVE GIVEN AN HONEST DESCRIPTION OF THE CONDITION OF THE VINYL,I CAN’T GUARANTEE IT WILL PLAY THE SAME WAY ON YOUR SYSTEM -YOU MIGHT HEAR THE ODD STATICK TICK/POP THAT I DIDN’T !!!
