Please, allow me to introduce myself quoting another old rock cliché: maybe I am too young on eBay but too old into this triptych of buy, sell and trade records as I’ve not only been a dedicated follower of collecting but a co-owner of second hand record shops, an A&R executive at record companies, a chief editor in music magazines, a radio dj etc for the last 30 years in Greece! So, a hell of a lot of rare and collectable items such as out-of-print original records, first pressings, special editions, promo samples, white labels, test pressings, magazines, posters, catalogues, memorabilia and other fetish objects of desire in 5, 7, 10 and 12 inches not only from Greece but from all over the world are going to be exhibited through these pages … Turn on and stay tuned!
So, this is a fine original copy - imported in Greece by the local department of WEA - of the rare and very hard to find - digitally remastered at Sterling Sound, New York in May 1990 and assumed to be mixed by Jimmy Page himself - Led Zeppelin’s self-titled set that contains 6 [six] records with Atlantic red and green labels - all in individual printed inner sleeves with artwork on one side and song listing on the other and housed in a heavy duty orange, yellow, brown, white and black box with a 36-page color information booklet with photos, credits, essays and discography - that Atlantic manufactured in a limited edition in Germany with Cat no 7567-82144-1 and released throughout UK and Europe in 1990 !The 6 lps - with a running time of almost 6 hours - contain 54 in total stand - out tracks and hidden gems of the band’s repertoire plus the previously unreleased BBC recordings "Travelling Riverside Blues" and "White Summer/Black Mountain Side", the previously unavailable on albums "Hey Hey What Can I Do" and the previously not available as a merged track "Moby Dick/Bonzo's Montreux" ["Moby Dick" was released on "Led Zeppelin II" and "Bonzo's Montreux" was released on "Coda"].Deleted upon release and in an amazing condition for something that was released almost 25 years ago - it looks like somebody shelved it brand new and forgot it there - this must have item for every devoted fan of the Masters Of Rock that Led Zeppelin still are, does not get offered up too often.
