Description

An original 1st issue of PG on the UK Swan label. Matrix A1/B5/C1/D1. Please note, importantly, there is no Warner Brothers logo apparent in the perimeter text - as per the early copies. The vinyl comes housed in an original Cullderstead cover. Also included is the white window interior card printed by 'Gothic Print Finishers'. Then there's both the inner card sleeves. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side, a bit of bag-rash type scuffing in a couple of spots, and one blemish on disc 1 -  but absolutely nothing feelable or troublesome at all. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. A beautiful player with little to find fault with. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with prefect clarity. Interference is pretty both minor and infrequent. It plays CLEAN nearly the whole way through. The only deviation I could pick up is just a bit of light static in the intro to 'In My Time of Dying'. Nothing major - just relatively brief and low-level audible. Other than that expect nothing worse than a few crackles in couple of isolated moments [e.g. 'In The Light']. By and large a super player that does this Zep classic maximum justice.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely clean front and back with hardly any wear around those die-cut windows - it really look very nice indeed. There's a touch of edge wear in places, but it looks way better than most examples that surface. The spine is only exhibiting minor wear and the text is legible, but it has faded a tad. Overall the box structure of the cover seems very nice and intact. A lovely all round specimen.
White Card Track Listing (Ex) Only lightest traces of ageing and no markings.
Inners (Ex+) No splits. Faultless. Sharp openings.
