Description

An original very earliest 1st press of PG on the UK Swan label from 1975/ Matrix. A1/B4/C1/D1. Please note there is no earlier matrix configuration than this - this is as early as it gets. Also please note all four labels do not hold the Warner Brother logo in the perimeter text - this, again, is indicative of 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original die-cut sleeve with the 'Cullderstead' address on the rear. The white inner is original and printed by Gothic Print Finishers. Also included are both original inner sleeves. So, not only is this the very earliest 1st press, but it is 100% complete too.
Vinyl (Ex) In great shape and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks on each side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. The audio quality from these early copies is nothing short of stunning. Interference is minimal. We are talking about a touch of light static in or two spots..i.e. very little at all. This a real beauty...
Cover (Ex) In great condition and someone has clearly looked after it down the years. That cover is often a bit worse for wear particularly around the windows. This copy fares way better than most with only light handling wear. No major issues other than that sticker removal mark in the top-left. Edge wear is reasonably light too, bit more on the spine.
Inner (Vg+) Nice condition with some light ageing.
Inners (Ex) Perfect condition with no splits.
