Plum' Atlantic pressing on red/white/plum label. This is the 6th (of 8) known 'plum' label variants. Specific to this label variant are:

'Marketed by Polydor Records Limited' at 6 o'clock on labels.

'Under license from Atlantic Recording Corp.' in white area under ATLANTIC on left side.

LED ZEPPELIN is printed above spindle hole, the same as Variation 4, whereas Variation 3 had the band name on a printed label in smaller type-face, and Variations 1 and 2 had the band name printed below the spindle hole in the 'plum' section.

Catalogue number at 3 o'clock above circular Atlantic logo reads 'deluxe 2401012'

There is no Peter Grant credit, and song publishing credits are: Kinney Music Ltd./Superhype Music Inc.

Side 2 has the following errors:

'Misty Mountain Hop' is misspelt 'Misty Mountain Top'.
The feather at 2 o'clock is upside down.

This upside down feather is specific to this label variant and the very first label only, as it was corrected on Variants 2 and 4, but turns up again on Variant 3, 6 (This one) and on Variant 7, and is corrected again on Variant 8 which is the last pressing on the 'plum' label.

Sleeve is a gatefold, thick card with sealed left side edge when opened up to reveal 'The Hermit' drawing. Disc is housed in a grey card sleeve with credits on one side and the lyrics to 'Stairway to Heaven' on the other.
Importantly, although Jimmy Page had got all the 'Executive Producer Peter Grant' credits removed from the labels by this time, the card inner sleeve still retains this credit at the bottom left side. These card inners all have over-seal type flaps on the left and right sides.

Condition
Sleeve (VG-): Sleeve shows signs of some age related wear, mostly confined to the corners and spine.
Record (EX++): The record is in immaculate condition with only the smallest whispy hairlines under bright light. There is only one or two faint spindle trails indicating that it’s been rarely played.
Inner (VG-): Original printed inner sheet is in good condition with some signs of wear, including a small seam split to bottom and remnants of where sellotape has been applied.
