Description
First U.K. pressing in lovely condition. The sleeve is sharp and glossy with a near perfect spine, the working wheel is in perfect condition, 3 of the gatefold corners have traces of creasing only visible at an angle. The back of the gatefold has a small area where the lamination has slightly creased but it’s still part of the record and absolutely no traces of peeling. There is a tiny pen writing at the top right of the inside gatefold, otherwise nice and vibrant. The labels are pristine. The vinyl has some light marks liken to paper scuffs but still incredibly glossy and this reflects on how the vinyl sounds. Side A plays beautifully with only the lightest of background noise audible between tracks and during the quietest passages. Side B has some hissing for the first 30 seconds and then it plays great. By looking at the vinyl, I would say that an ultrasonic/professional clean could solve the hissing issues.
