Here’s a GREAT Led Zeppelin PROMO LP that you just don’t run across often and when you do, it has a high “Buy It Now” price. This is a TRUE auction with NO “Buy-it Now” price, NO Reserve and a LOW starting bid. This LP comes from my own collection.

In this auction:

·       “LED ZEPPELIN II” by Led Zeppelin

·       This is Atlantic Records SD 8236.

·       It’s a GATEFOLD LP.

·       It was released in 1969 and is a STEREO LP.

·       This is a WHITE LABEL PROMO PRESSING!!!

·       As you may know PROMO RECORDS were issued in very limited quantities and provided to DJs/Radio Stations, not to the general public, for airplay to promote the single or the LP that has the song.

·        It has GREAT Led Zeppelin tunes on it: “Whole Lotta Love”, “What Is And What Should Never Be”, “The Lemon Song”, “Thank You”, “Heartbreaker”, “Living Loving Maid (She’s Just a Woman)”, “Ramble On”, “Moby Dick”, and “Bring It On Home”.

·       The COVER is in STRONG VG Condition. There is an orange “Promotional Copy NOT FOR SALE” sticker on the front cover. There is a “Song Tracks” Sticker with play times on the rear cover. The cover has moderate wear all over. There is much wear on the corners and edges and on the lower 3 inches of the spine. There is a little splitting (1 inch) inside gatefold cover at the middle. ·       The VINYL LOOKS VERY NICE. It is in VERY STRONG VG CONDITION. There are just light surface scuffs and hairlines.

·       The LABELS are for the most part CLEAN & WHITE with no writing on them. There is some light circular “rubbing” on the high part of the label caused by the turntable on side 2. The labels have “SAMPLE COPY NOT FOR SALE” printed on them.

·       How can you pass up this wonderful PROMO LP from Led Zeppelin, one of the planet’s super groups?
