Description

An original summer 1971 copy of Zep II on the UK Atlantic label. Matrix A5/B4. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day gatefold cover. Also included is the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few superficial marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. We detected just a brief touch of static in one or spots, and a pop before MOBY starts up - but by and large a clean and impressive rendition. Difficult to find playing consistently this good - a definite keeper!
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. Nice clean front without creasing - just a touch of ageing on the white section over toward the spine. The rear looks good and is not suffering excessive handling wear. The interior is pretty much immaculate - no issues at all. Edge wear is mostly light except for on the spine. Do not expect to make out any of the text it has worn off - but not worn through. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Vg+) Bit of ageing. No splits.
