I am not a record dealer, i was left these records by my step dad, so i have listed these to the best of my ability after doing my best to understand the grading system with help of a friend who does have experience, i do believe i have been fair as i can in doing so.

Led Zeppelin - I


Here i have for sale Led Zeppelin's debut studio album which is a UK 1st pressing with the much sought after Turquoise lettering sleeve.


It is a true first pressing with uncorrected matrix numbers and Superhype publishers credit for songs A1, A2, A4 & B1, B2, B3, B5. 


It has the original first variant sleeve which has turquoise text for the name of the band and the Atlantic logo with the light grey strip along the bottom edge of the front. 


Also included is the original rice-paper lined 'safety first' die-cut inner sleeve. 
Not to be confused with reproductions, which despite having turquoise lettering on the front, will not have the title or catalogue number on the spine. Reproductions might also have different colored vinyl and list "LZ-A" and "LZ-B" on the corresponding sides of the deadwax, rather than the catalogue number.

First pressing issued in a short-run laminated sleeve with turquoise lettering, withdrawn.
Released on Atlantic plum & red label with tracks credited to 'Superhype Music' and 'Jewel Music'.
The vinyl comes in a poly-lined inner (patent No 800513 973939).

This 1st pressing variation has turquoise sleeve lettering (like this one) and Superhype Music/Jewel Music Publishing credits labels.  Also 1st Issues Have Uncorrected Matrix Numbers On Run Out, Later Pressings Have The Letter 8 Crossed Out
This 1st pressing variation has orange sleeve lettering with grey stripe across the base of the front cover and (Superhype Music/Jewel Music Publishing credits labels).
  •  Record Condition VG to VG+
  • i'm putting VG  as there is some quiet crackle on side one in the quieter parts of the tracks towards the middle of the record it's not over powering but it can be heard during the quieter parts of the record. the rest of the record is mainly VG+ only noticeable in between tracks, there is scuffs, but no deep scratch's  and the record plays throughout with no noticeable warping.

  • this really is in great condition for its age, there is some wavy marks in the laminate on the front and small creases on the front & back also the laminate has lifted on the top right back corner, the spine is in fairly good condition readable but again with some creases, please check the photos

  • Original Inner Sleeve VG+
  • there is a red dot of pen some discoloration near the opening and some minor creases  patent No 800513 973939
