This record came from WADC in Akron Ohio.

WADC was a charter member of the CBS Radio Network, being one of the 16 stations that aired the first CBS network program on September 18, 1927.[7] The station soon opened new studios in Tallmadge and increased its power to 5,000 watts. Its frequency jumped around from 1160 to 1010 to 1260, and to 1320 after the FRC's General Order 40 went into effect on November 11, 1928. On March 29, 1941 it moved to 1350 kHz as part of the NARBA frequency shifts.

As the CBS affiliate during the 1930s and 1940s, WADC was the leading Akron radio station, rivaled later only by WAKR after it took to the air in 1940. Akron had no NBC Red affiliate, since WTAM's signal from Cleveland covered the area. WADC's success was symbolized by the two-story art-deco WADC Building, which was completed on May 6, 1949 and became a local landmark on the southeast corner of Main and Mill Streets in downtown Akron. The entire second floor of the building was occupied by the station's studios and offices.

WADC was sold in late 1964 to Welcome Radio, Inc. headed by Cleveland lawyer Harrison Fuerst. In January 1965, the station became WSLR, known as "Whistler 1350."

 The VJM Grading System

 Mint;  As new and unplayed (there are virtually no 78s that can categorically be claimed to be unplayed).

Mint- ;  Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage.

E+ ;
Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets.

E ;
Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.

E- ;
Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record, few light scratches.

VG+ ; I
s an average condition 78 in which scuffs and genral use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.

VG ;
Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.

VG-
;  Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.

International Purchases
Are Very Welcome, but MUST use Pay-pal!

Due to the differences in weight of each and every 78 it's virtually impossible
to give you an accurate estimate on shipping until you know which ones you wish
to buy. Then and only then can I give you a quote. The automated calculation
for international shipping cannot be trusted. However, You can trust me to give
you the very best cost possible. Please wait for me to send you an invoice
when combining multiple purchases.

FOR SINGLE PURCHASES IT IS CORRECT!
(Domestic; International)

I do have a $3.00 handling fee for
international purchases and $1.42 fee for domestic purchases to cover materials
for packaging these fragile 78's to assure safe delivery to your door.
It's a one time fee per total purchase, whether it's for 1 or 100.
There are some exceptions!

Also

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in
the item price or shipping charges.
These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what
these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

Due to the incredible attention this record has, I thought I'd state what is wrong on the "BAD SIDE". Half way through for about a 1/2 second time span there's something that sounds like a "Turkey Gobble". Sorry, but that's the best way I can describe it. Other then that it's fine. Hope this helps.
