I have on offer this week in separate auctions, four different rare 7" EP's, featuring LARS GULLIN. All of the  EP's are from the early 1950's with three of them on the Swedish SONET and METRONOME labels, with the other featuring Zoot Sims, on the PRESTIGE label. One of the Sonet EPs is extremely UNUSUAL in that it is a white-labelled TEST PRESSING, suprisingly with regularly issued art cover/jacket!!

On offer in this particular auction is the Swedish 7" EP, 'LASSE (LARS) GULLIN-ROLF BILLBERG QUINTET', on SONET SXP 2002. This EP was issued in the early 1950's and is a rare instance of the usuage of 'Lasse' rather than 'Lars' for Gullin's first name!

Outside of toning and very light ring wear and slight wear at the top opening, the jacket is a solid VG+ with no split seams or marks. The record audibly grades out around VG+ as well with no scratches, but there is what looks like tape residue on some of the grooves on both sides, BUT this is NOT audible during playing!! The labels are clean on both sides.
