A dreamlike spoken‑word collection, Violet Bent Backwards Over The Grass presents Lana Del Rey’s poetry in a warm, atmospheric soundscape shaped by subtle jazz‑leaning instrumentation from Jack Antonoff. The album blends diaristic reflections, West Coast imagery and intimate narration, offering a unique and personal extension of Lana’s creative world. This 2020 US gatefold edition delivers the project in a beautifully presented stereo pressing with a soft, immersive tone.
