Description
Original sealed copy of Moon Shadow by Labelle (1972). This is an authentic early pressing that has never been opened. Factory shrink is still intact. The album includes Patti LaBelle, Nona Hendryx, and Sarah Dash during their pre-disco, early 1970s soul-funk era.
There is a small handwritten note under the shrink wrap from the previous owner listing the musicians who played on the album. This writing is on the shrink, not on the jacket itself.
Condition
Jacket: Sealed in original shrink wrap. Shrink has light wear, small edge tears, and minor corner wear from age and storage.
Vinyl: Presumed Mint since the record has never been opened.
Shrink Note: A previous owner taped a small handwritten personnel list onto the shrink. It does not affect the cover.

Album Notes
Moon Shadow is one of Labelle’s early soul/funk albums before their major breakout with “Lady Marmalade.” Influenced by hard funk, psychedelic soul, and early rock elements, this LP features contributions from top session players of the era.
