(..STONEWALL....) by ( STONEWALL )...... ....( a fan says: One of the rarest and most valuable American vinyl records is the original pressing of this lone Stonewall LP. The original Tiger Lily label pressing is a so-called tax scam album and apparently there were only five copies made back in 1976. The music on this album was recorded in the early 70's but it's not clear which year it was. One of the original records was sold in 2014 on eBay for $14,100. So we're talking about a highly valuable collector's item here. On the musical point of view this only Stonewall LP offers some very solid heavy psych moments and it's easy to recommend this underground classic for every fan of the genre. The album is pretty short but it doesn't matter. Most of the time this record sounds great and it's hard to imagine that if you're a fan of hard psych rock you would not enjoy this album. There are no clear standout moments because the whole LP is a consistent package of strong material. Highly recommended for the fans of heavy psych and progressive rock. This only Stonewall album kicks ass pretty much.
