COUPLE OF TIPS
· Place your highest bid, if interested, in time. There is bidding-software that will overbid you automatically in the very last second!!
· In my description text i have put a link to ALL my ads (ebay UK & USA). Only than you are sure to find ALL of my items !! Don’t use the link ebay provides !!
· Items without bid will meet shredder after one week.
· If i use the word ‘copy’ it does NOT mean i made a copy of the original ! It means the item is a copy meant for the promoter to put in its archive. All items are from these archives.
· You can combine items in any case
· Sometimes ebay does not allow to give in the correct shipping price because they use a maximum. In those few cases i clearly mention the correct price in the description.
· You may always mail me with questions to the item.
· I will not end auction early.

The short, mysterious career of the aptly named female French duo Deux Filles is bookended by tragedy. Gemini Forque and Claudine Coule met as teenagers at a holiday pilgrimage to Lourdes, during which Coule's mother died of an incurable lung disease and Forque's mother was killed and her father paralyzed in a grisly auto accident.
This would be a terribly sad story if a word of it were true. In reality, Deux Filles were Simon Fisher Turner, former child star/teen idol and future soundtrack composer, and his mate Colin Lloyd Tucker. Turner and Tucker left an early incarnation of The The in 1981 to pursue another musical direction. Turner claims that the idea of Deux Filles came to him in a dream, and he and Tucker strictly maintained the fiction throughout the duo's career. Not only did they pose in drag for the album covers, the duo once even played live without the audience realizing that the tragic French girls on-stage were actually a pair of blokes from south London having a giggle. Deux Filles released two albums through Turner and Tucker's Papier Mache label, 1982's Silence & Wisdom and 1983's Double Happiness. After that, the duo scrapped the Deux Filles concept and released two ambient pop albums as Jeremy's Secret.

Some general notes to the archive items that i offer:
- All items are genuine in the sense they were stored as the ONLY back-up to the organised shows. All stuff is between 20 and 35 years old !
- Sometimes an Agreement or Rider is an ordinary (those days) xerox-copy because the agent was sent the original back. Other times it is the original one.
- Some older correspondence, sometimes even contractual stuff was sent by 'Tele-Fax'. Very thin paperwork.
- There are items that come with (promotional) photograph. Since everything comes from the vaults and is between 20-30 years old there can be some ageing visible.
- For the scan i sometimes removed the staples. Please note stables can be bit rusty in cases where they are left in place.
- I will give a more or less general qualification to the paperwork of each offered item.
- Sometimes it is too much to go into detail what is offered and i then descibe it as 'correspondence'.
- Just to be sure for you as buyer: THIS IS ABSOLUTE UNIQUE ONE TIME ONLY stuff.
- Items can be combined; if you win item you can tell me also that you are only interested in part of the stuff (that may be cheaper in shipping costs);
- UNSOLD will meet paper shredder in one week.
More specific notes to some offered items in general:
- AGREEMENT or CONTRACT can be offered in different formes. It even can be a 'COPY'. Please do understand that the word 'copy' DOES NOT refer to a copying action i did!! It means that that was the part of the contract the promotor kept. So also in that case: ABSOLUTE GENUINE ARCHIVE.
- RIDER is a set of instructions, sometimes just one page, other times 20 or more pages with needs & wants by the artist belonging to the contract on the level of technical stuff or/and hospitality requests. So e.g. from electricity and light demandings, thru selling of merchandise, security, free tickets for the band, to towels, meals, (non-) alcoholics etc etc etc and sometimes on what Support Band has to be involved. - ITINERARY to the club, shows all details of the venue where artist will perform. Like dimensions of the stage, parking place, Get-In time, Soundcheck Time, Promotor of the venue, Stage-Time (support/main), Curfew etc etc.
