Description
I decided to sell some off my personal collection. At the time of each listing, I am giving a listen to both sides (testing) and add a bit of the listening details you just can’t see in pictures. Nothing worse than putting out money and hearing a nasty skip when you get a chance to give it a spin. This is what my main focus is going to be. I’m also happy to provide more pics upon request and answer any questions. I’m not a pro, I do most research on Discogs and sometimes I still don’t understand what exact pressing or from what plant my copy is from.
This is a beautiful original press WS1887. The gatefold cover is quite solid, some battle scars around the edges and a general ring of wear in the back, less noted wear on front. No writing on anything, no splitting of the cover. Well handled. The inner sleeve is original and it has splits on all three sides as well as toning. Side one looks amazing, no spindle marks either side, none I can distinguish. Side 2 does have a few straight line scratches. Playability there is no skipping, but you will hear light surface noises. As to which exact pressing plant it is from, I’m not sure. It’s a nice solid green label original.
