Released in 1970, the self-titled Alive 'N Kickin' (SR-42052) is the only studio album by the Brooklyn-based pop-rock group. They are best known as a "one-hit wonder" for the smash single "Tighter, Tighter," which was co-written and produced by Tommy James.

The album is a fascinating bridge between late-60s bubblegum pop and the more sophisticated, brass-heavy "sunshine pop" and rock of the early 70s.
