This listing is for one (1) 1980 RUSH PERMANENT WAVES LP vinyl record album on Mercury/Phonogram Records. This LP comes from my personal record collection, so it has been handled and stored very carefully. It is used and is in very good playing condition with just a few visible light/minimal surface scuffs or scratches. The cover shows just a little shelf wear, and the inside jacket shows some wear. Plays very clean, with a few audible pops and clicks here and there and some very light crackling in just a couple of spots. Rush's platinum-selling seventh studio album was the band's breakthrough release, reaching #4 in the US, largely on the strength of more radio-friendly tunes like, "The Spirit Of Radio," "Free Will," and "Entre Nous." Overall, probably Rush's most melodic album up to that point, loaded with the excellent additional compositions, "Jacob's Ladder," "Different Strings," and "Natural Science." The band seemed to really find its sound with this LP. Still one of my personal favorite Rush albums today. A nice addition to anyone's LP collection! From a pet-free, non-smoking home. Enjoy!
