Description
Divisive at the time, this is one album that has grown in respect over the years. It came right after the instant classic Powerslave record and the behemoth mega-world-tour that followed, and this went in some new directions.The band certainly earned the right (if indeed such a right needs to be earned) to breathe a bit and try something new. Thing is, listening now, it really doesn't sound all that different from what came before. I only consider one song to be a dud ("Deja Vu") and some of their best songs ever are on here: Sea of Madness, Stranger in a Strange Land, Heaven Can Wait...
And it has an amazing record cover.
2014 release on Sanctuary Records. I don't see too many copies of this pressing popping up on eBay for whatever reason.
